HVAC Field Engineer

• Examining Vendors documentation, contributing in Spares Parts Lists definition
• Ensure that all heating, cooling, ventilation and related systems maintenance activities are carried out in a safe manner, with the best working practise and in respect with scheduling programs;
• Monitoring, inspecting and verifying the performance of the Maintenance Contractors and their respect of time scheduling;
• Following-up and controlling the testing and commissioning of new / modified equipment, systems and machinery;
• Ensuring that and Statutory safety and integrity requirements are adhered to in all Maintenance activities undertaken by Company personnel and external Contractors;
• Ensuring that provision of adequate resources to carry out associated maintenance activities exist, e.g. special tools and materials for the technicians and / or additional maintenance specialist support;
• Contribute to the compiling, completing and submitting of reports, KPI performance and documentation to the required standards and at the relevant frequency;
• Contributing to the development and updating of a formal maintenance system CMMS for production facilities;
• Support and guide work preparation, planning and scheduling activities, including Campaign Maintenance;
• Diagnosing faults and trends and taking or recommending appropriate corrective action;
• Ensuring the correct level of Mechanical isolation is implemented;
• Responsible for the HVAC field technicians to ensure timely effective operation and maintenance of the site HVAC systems.
• Input into the technical training of National Technicians and competence assurance scheme;
• Undertake specific training programmes for upgrading the skill of National Technicians;
• Contribute to Maintenance Staff recruitment, Competency Assurance, Training & Development Plans

Competences :

• Good communication skills, both oral and written
• English language skills are welcome but not mandatory
• Proven problem solving skills with the ability to apply these skills in emergency situations
• Knowledge of HVAC troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment, communicate, understand and work within the dynamics of a multi functional, multi cultural environment.
• Computer literate

Requirements :

• Appropriate education from a certified Technical School, College or University OR other appropriate life Skills to offset Education requirements
• Minimum 0-2 years experience in process industries
• Good knowledge of HVAC systems maintenance and repair
• Experience at managing safety within area of responsibility
• SAP knowledge and experience
• Previous experience in Caspian Area would be an advantage
