Senior Security Testing Engineer

Description

We're seeking a highly skilled Security Testing Engineer with a strong background in either web, mobile application, or infrastructure security.

This role requires a proficient understanding of security assessment. The individual will be responsible for the results, working independently. The engineer will perform lawful and legitimate penetration testing or vulnerability assessments of the target system(s), acting like an insider or an external user.

Responsibilities

• Develop security testing training for the project team
• Lead planning and team management related to security assessment
• Identify and implement relevant security specifications and standards
• Define security requirements and create security testing strategies
• Establish security tools and their corresponding checks
• Scope and estimate tasks, and manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
• Collaborate with both technical and management personnel across the full security assessment lifecycle
• Document all disclosed issues in different reporting formats
• Suggest appropriate remediation strategies for disclosed issues
• Collaborate with staff responsible for creating and presenting proposals to prospective clients
