Job Purpose Summary : undertake carpentry and woodwork
Key Responsibilities and Duties :
Woodworker has the following responsibilities :
Observe the “Internal labor order rules” of KIMEP;Undertake works, related to periodic inspection of furniture, observing the correctness of its use and maintenance, repair the furniture and widows and doors;Undertake works, related to repairing minor defects of furniture and fitments, window casements, fanlights, upon the requests or calls of superintendents of building management department;Works of repairing the furniture, windows and doors shall be done according to the schedules, composed on the grounds of inspections;Keep the work place clean and tidy;Observe discipline, be always dressed tidily and polite with employees and students of the Institute;Know and observe the rules of fire and labor safety;Be responsible for safekeeping the entrusted material values, necessary for performing the works (instruments, materials, etc);Upon discretion of direct supervisor, perform other utility works : assist workers in carrying property around KIMEP, assist the Superintendent of the dormitory when submitting linen to laundry and receiving it back;Woodworker mandatory has to undergo a primary instruction at the moment of hiring, and then repeated and targeted instructions at the work placeUse the uniform and individual means of protection as assigned;Observe requirements of norms, rules and instructions of safety and labor protection, and also the requirements of the employer on safe work performing at the work place.Minimum Qualifications : accuracy, responsibility, ability to work in a team, furniture repair ability
