The Position

Purpose

Medical experts co-create to transform medical practice and architect healthcare systems of the future, accelerating translation of medical innovation into improved health outcomes for the individual and catalyzing adoption of high medical value diagnostic solutions that improve patients outcomes.

Qualification

At least 3 years experience in a healthcare related department (medical department : senior MSL, medical advisor; clinical trials department : no less than country study manager level)

Strong strategic planning experience at regional and / or national level

Evidence generation experience through expertise in pharmacotherapy, clinical guidelines, clinical trials

Experience in product development (clinical trials, sites of clinical trials, clinical trials teams)

Experience in project management, including cross-functional projects and cross-country level

Experience of global networking (engagement and / or leadership of projects at cross-country level)

Competencies and skills

Holistic perspective vision (medium term 2-3 years) on disease area (pipeline and on market products) through global-local-regional deep understanding

Being at the balcony and on the dance floor - unique skill set, keeping one foot in here-and-now and one foot in the future

Confidence in incorporating of Roche innovation (new diagnostic solution, novel biomarker etc) into the future healthcare system, based on an in-depth understanding of trends in patient care, clinical practice through insights gathering and early engagement at different levels of the ecosystem

High level of scientific, medical practice and healthcare system expertise through connection of global, local and regional development trends understanding

Ability to realize deep understanding of product life cycle to Integrated evidence strategy

Ability to adjust disease area strategy based on local features and consolidate regional learnings for exponential growth of valuable solutions

Flexible expertise inside, cross-market, across country and ability to drop in the new disease area and market quickly

Creative thinking and the ability to co-create distinctive solutions and approaches to work to improve competitiveness

Digital and software proficiency including ability to work inside digital field, building and developing this field, such as digital channels as enablers of the interaction with external stakeholders, integrated digital solutions, etc

Collaborative decision-making inside the team, focusing on highest value initiatives for the team, company, patients and the entire medical community.

Excel in training, leading and motivating people. Outstanding soft skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills (Russian - native, English - no less than B2), as well as confidence in presentation and negotiation skills

Challenges

You lead the development of the local Medical Strategy and Medical Plan for key disease areas

You provide medical and scientific information to respond to Key Scientific Experts questions & enquiries from customers or internal colleagues

You lead local evidence generation through research and studies by conducting investigator initiated or Roche initiated studies

You lead knowledge dissemination on high medical value diagnostic solutions via organization of educational events, conferences, congresses & etc in order to transform external stakeholders' engagement and co-create solutions through deep understanding of medical gaps and patients’, medical society and ecosystem needs to support patient journey and improve patient outcomes. You link and connect different levels of the ecosystem via personalized engagement of stakeholders from different levels

You translate scientific, medical practice and patient-driven insights into tangible impact (value for patients, value for community and value for Roche)

You incorporate a Roche innovation (new dia solution, therapy option etc) into the future healthcare system, based on an in-depth understanding of trends in patient care, clinical practice through insights gathering and early engagement at different levels of the ecosystem

You provide transformation of regional clinical practice. Monitor and identify key health trends / opportunities / risks in the regional health system affecting company operations in the region. Stay up-to-date on health issues in the region. Have a holistic view of the ecosystem and enable experience sharing within the ecosystem. Develop and implement collaborative solutions with the healthcare community to transform and optimize clinical practice.

You maintain peer relationships with healthcare professionals and institutions, enable meaningful, cross-functional partnerships with stakeholders to leverage business opportunities. Proactively engage healthcare professionals in the innovative solutions and services co-creation.
