JOB TITLE : Project Manager

TERM : 6-8 month

CLIENT  LOCATION : Kazakhstan, Almaty

RELEVANT  EXPERIENCE :   Consulting, Banking,  Finance

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS

  • 5-10 years of experience
  • Russian and English language
  • Project management skills
  • Fraud experience is preferred

PURPOSE OF JOB :

The primary objective of this role is to provide PMO support for the ongoing SSO project in Kazakhstan, with a specific focus on the implementation of Fraud Management as a Service. While the Product team is actively engaged in delivering content-related aspects, additional deploy resources are required to enhance project  governance, coordination, and execution. The role involves a 6-8 month engagement, ensuring effective project  management, alignment with stakeholders, and seamless deployment of the solution.

TASKS

Core Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Project Update Structuring : Organize and maintain project updates in alignment with deliverables, ensuring clarity and consistency.
  • Translation Support : Provide Russian-English translation during weekly client calls, facilitating smooth communication between all stakeholders.
  • Meeting Summaries & Follow-ups : Prepare concise summaries after each weekly call, capturing key decisions, action items, and next steps. Track and manage follow-ups with the client for any outstanding items.
  • SteerCo Deck Development : Collaborate with the Product team to compile monthly SteerCo decks, ensuring all necessary insights and project updates are effectively presented.
  • Stakeholder Coordination : Act as a liaison between Mastercard teams and the client, ensuring alignment, timely responses, and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Project Communication : Timely and structured delivery of project updates, summaries, and follow-ups.
  • Stakeholder Engagement : Effective facilitation of weekly client calls through accurate translation and proactive follow-up management.
  • SteerCo Reporting : Delivery of well-structured, comprehensive monthly SteerCo decks with input from relevant teams.
  • Knowledge and Experience

  • Proficiency in Russian and English is essential for translation and stakeholder communication.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to structure and document project updates effectively.
  • Experience in project coordination, PMO support, or stakeholder management, preferably in banking, payments, or consulting.
  • Fraud experience is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with both internal and external teams.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage an 8-hour weekly involvement efficiently.
  • Familiarity with PowerPoint or similar tools for creating professional SteerCo presentations
