KIMEP University NJSC, Support Services Division is looking for applicants to a number of vacant positions of cleaners on different locations of the University :

Job Titles : Cleaners

Division : Support Services

Department : Building Management

Position reports to : the Commandant of the certain bulding.

Job Purpose Summary : Ensuring cleanliness and order in the building.

Key Responsibilities and Duties :

Observe the “Internal labor order rules” of KIMEP;

Know the area to be cleaned and property located there (tables, chairs, telephones, computers, etc.)

Follow the safety of property. In case of revealing the loss immediately inform the Superintendent;

On a daily basis, in full quality and volume complying with the approved norms, undertake a moist cleaning at the assigned area, including dusting the furniture, windows and window panes, telephones, table lamps, mirrors, on-table devices, clean the trash bins, wall panels, remove spider web from walls and ceilings;

On a daily basis, in full quality and volume complying with the approved norms, undertake a moist cleaning of toilets;

Timely inform the Superintendent on all malfunctions of property and equipment, revealed during cleaning, when necessary, record the requests in the journal kept by the Superintendent;

Observe requirements of norms, rules and instructions of safety and labor protection, and also requirements of the employer on safe work performance at the work place;

Use the uniform and individual means of protection as assigned;

Keep the work place clean;

Janitor mandatory has to undergo a primary instruction at the moment of hiring, and then repeated and targeted instructions at the work place

observe rules of fire safety; know location of the fire fighting equipment and how to use it;

Upon necessity, assist Superintendent in preparing the offices (moving furniture, etc) and in holding the inventory;

Handle cleaning equipment and uniform with care;

Daily sign the timesheet;

After completion of work close water taps, windows and doors, switch off the light;

On time take measures on any fact of squandering electricity, water and hygiene devices;

Be always dressed tidy and polite with faculty, staff and students of the Institute;

Minimum Qualifications : Knowledge of sanitary and hygiene rules; operation rules for the equipment and other accessories used; cleaning rules, purpose and concentration of disinfectants and detergents; operation rules for sanitary and hygiene devices; labor, safety and fire protection rules and regulations; accurate and responsible.
