Responsibilities :

  • Evaluate and develop a continuous / monitoring capability by promoting the use of data analytics;
  • Design and build structured and unstructured audit actions data analytic models, metrics, templates in support of multiple efforts;
  • Develop holistic solutions from integrating data sources to providing visualizations and data insights;
  • Conduct reviews of actions requiring evaluation and interpretation of data, summarization of findings / actions to enable preparation of concise, clear and meaningful reports, recommendations and position papers for Company Management;
  • Take initiative to consider and recommend improvements on audit actions management and reporting process;
  • Perform validation and assessment of documents provided by Business in support of action closure;
  • Measure, evaluate and challenge the quality of the corrective / preventive actions / deliverables and propose sound recommendations to Audit Directorate / Business;
  • Regularly engage with various levels of Company management to progress actions closure status and keep Audit Management informed of engagement status and important issues as they arise;
  • Develop Weekly / Monthly Summary Actions Status Reports for SLT;
  • Develop training manuals, procedures, workflows as deemed necessary;
  • Provide support, organize trainings / workshops on audit data management system usage to both internal and external stakeholders;
  • Track and log data in the audit management system;
  • Maintain and propose improvements to the audit management system structure and performance;
  • Support selection and implementation of audit action management system;
  • Develop and maintain Key Performance Indicators for the action tracking processes;
  • Monitor and fulfill data requests by Internal Audit Department to support audit assignments;
  • Update, troubleshoot, and maintain data queries, reports, and models as directed;
  • Pursue professional development opportunities, including external and internal training and professional association memberships, and share information gained with co-workers;
  • To work as otherwise directed.

Competences :

  • Competency in analysing root causes of issues and identifying logical remedial steps;
  • Project management experience including facilitating meetings and following-up on action items;
  • Strong interpersonal skills required, including : written and verbal communications, willingness to assist in areas outside of direct assignments when necessary, and commitment to self-improvement and completion of team objectives;
  • Fluent spoken and written English;
  • An open mind and research orientated approach to Performance Improvement Management techniques;
  • Good analytical skills and ability to make sound judgements and take decisions;
  • Good influencing and presentation skills, ability to manage relationships in a multi-cultural environment, self- confidence end ethical behaviour;
  • Proven ability to interface with different corporate functions;
  • Dynamic approach, self direction and willingness to engage all concerned Parties in order to meet Company’s objectives;
  • Reliable PC skills, Outlook, Power Point, Word and Excel as a minimum;
  • Database skills that match the requirements of the job;
  • Knowledge and understanding of business process mapping.

Requirements :

  • Bachelor / Master Degree in Audit / Data Analytics / Business Analytics / Data Science / Accounting / Finance discipline relevant to the Oil and Gas field development business;
  • Relevant certification preferred (e.g., CIA, CISA);
  • At least 5 years of credible Oil & Gas industry experience and / or audit consulting companies
  • Knowledge of and skill in applying internal auditing principles and practices, and management principles, and general industry practices;
  • Knowledge of and skill in applying analytics methods;
  • Skill in collecting and analyzing data, evaluating information and systems, and drawing logical conclusions; Experience with commercial data analytic and visualization tools;
  • Experience implementing data analytic scenarios from analysis and design through testing and training highly desired;
  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Office suite (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio);
  • Understand Project Drivers, Critical Success Factors and the use of KPIs to measure project performance;
  • Solid experience acquired in the database system management;
  • Specific experience in development and provision of the training
