Responsibilities :

• Strong understanding of the project from a business perspective;
• Strong understanding of system architecture. Knowing how to add new features while maintaining code simplicity and robustness;
• Participating in code reviews;
• Writing defensive code;
• Awareness of code performance;
• Maintaining a good working relationship with the Tech Lead;
• Efficient API protocol negotiation with other teams;
• Explaining system workings to other members;
• Contributing ideas and raising questions in group discussions;
• Addressing small code issues (bad design) immediately and planning for larger ones;
• Adapting to changes in technology and project requirements;
• Ensuring features work well post-release;
• Questioning the value of tasks : whether the requested change is worth doing vs the cost of increased complexity and development time;
• Striving for bug-free features;
• Proactively investigating bug reports.
